map.army Options: Units, Coordinates, Base Map

Every preference map.army exposes lives here. Pick your unit system (metric or imperial), choose how coordinates are displayed (MGRS, UTM, lat/long, and more), set your favourite base map as the default, and tune the coordinate grid and the map tools. Configure it once, and the app remembers it for next time.

General Options — Language, Work Mode, Units

Configure language, Work Mode (International vs Extended symbology), units such as NATO mils, the time zone and other app-wide preferences in map.army.

Map display settings: style, labels and terrain

Choose the base map in map.army and tune how it looks — Map Type, Brightness, Hue and Chroma — so your military symbols stay readable against it.

Map tools: coordinate search and measurement options

Switch map.army map tools on or off — coordinate search, measure tools, cursor coordinates, scale bar, magnetic north and location display.
