When to use Pacific View
The Pacific View is useful when your area of operations crosses the 180° meridian or sits on the eastern side of the Pacific. Mission planning across the international date line, Asia-Pacific maritime exercises and operations spanning from East Asia to the western coast of the Americas are easier to read when the Pacific Ocean sits at the centre of the canvas rather than being split between the left and right edges of the map.
To return to the Atlantic-centred default view, open Options again and clear the Pacific View checkbox. The setting is stored in your browser, so the chosen view persists between sessions on the same device.
